Casino Gaming reports that The Paris hotel will host a $1 million bingo event Nov. 26-28. Dion Entertainment Corp., a Canadian company based in British Columbia, has announced a 5-year agreement with Paris to market travel packages to the hotel for a multi-game bingo competition.

To be called "Bingo Magic-The World Championship of Bingo," the program's final game will have a $1 million prize.
The Paris event, which will be held twice a year, hopes to attract 1,000 contestants by marketing the event to its slot club, while Bingo Plus Services, Dion's U.S. subsidiary, will market the event to bingo operators. Dion hopes to attract 2,500 contestants, in addition to the participants Paris recruits. Dion expects to charge approximately $1,600 for the entry fee, airfare and accommodations at Paris or its sister property, Bally's.
