New TV Show: ''Casino Connection''
WWAC-TV 53 in Atlantic City and Players Network announce that "Casino
Connection," the nation's only weekly television program dedicated
exclusively to casino gambling, will debut this week on broadcast television
and the Internet. The one-hour live talk show will be broadcast every
Wednesday at 9 p.m. EDT. Each program will include exclusive interviews with
gaming celebrities, experts, public officials and casino executives. The show
will focus on Atlantic City, but will include news from casinos around the
world. Mark Bradley, president of Players Network, says "Casino Connection"
is long overdue: "Considering the size of the gaming industry, it's
surprising that there is no weekly television program that provides the

There is a weekly radio show out of Cleveland that does this type of programming. The writer is correct that there is a demand for this type of programming. It mentioned that the show would be available via the internet. I wonder how that will work.

I dunno, but with the plethora of information already available through various media, it seems to me in comparison that a one hour TV show which tries to cover all the bases is not going to offer more than a very superficial view of the gaming world.

Of course I won't be able to see it unless there are some VERY strange atmospheric conditions LOL!
