Amazing Kreskin: UFOs will land Thursday

LAS VEGAS - The Amazing Kreskin says he can't say exactly how he knows.

But he's so sure Las Vegas is going to be visited by UFOs Thursday night that he's willing to bet $50,000. He's even narrowing his prediction down to a time: between about 10 p.m. and midnight.

His name's become a synonym for predicting the future. Still, he insists he's not a psychic -- he's a mentalist.

Kreskin says he's sure dozens or hundreds will see what he's sure they'll see. He's even offering to end his show at the Silverton early and bus people to where he says he's sure the objects can be seen.

He says he'll donate the $50,000 to charity if he's wrong. He wouldn't say which one.

***I guess we need a trip report from someone in Vegas with details on this alleged UFO.

That would be Ralph's job, but then It would be a good excuse to make an extra LV trip.

I see UFO's all the time out here, they usually appear late at night after about a dozen tall glasses of Guinness Extra Stout.

I think the UFO's beat on my head, I wake up with the worse headaches the morning after a UFO sighting. :rolleyes:

I guess the UFO thingy never happened. I am sooooooooo bummed out by this sad news.

And if that weren't enough, there's more bad news for the Nevada dreamers and historians. The DMV and Gov. Kenny Guinn "nuked" a plan for an optional license plate featuring a mushroom cloud. I guess it's not politically correct to recognize facts and history if there is any chance it will hurt the feelings of insecure people. lee the way i heard the story he took people from his last show out in the dessert and some of them did see or feel the presence of the ufo so no payoff to charity.a local radio station has banned him from their station as being a fraud--ya think!!!

I think it was about 40 out of 300 that saw "something". I wonder if he could buy 40 shills for under $50,000.

He probably rounded up 40 homeless, bought each a case of TJ or MD and brought them out there to feel the presence. :rolleyes: :p

I remember Kreskin from the Merv Griffin show. The amazing part is he's still working. :-)

One of my favorite singers, Ricky Van Shelton, works at the Silverton during NFR week. So, you see, it can't be that bad!!

As I recall, Kreskin also said that he could get someone to see anything, as that's the way that crowd dynamics (hysteria?) works. Since he's said that a few people "saw" something, he's off the hook for the 50 grand..........I don't think his word is too good around here any more......... He's going to have to show up with a green man (Ralph, after a "sighting"?), to regain any credibility!
