Station Casinos announced Monday that it plans to build it's biggest and most expensive casino in the Summerlin area.

Beth. i guess they're planning on building a hotel even bigger and better than Green Valley Ranch, sounds interesting.

I've been waiting for Coast Casinos to start competing with this. A Coast hotel, maybe down past the south strip and Mandalay would be great.

According to the LVRJ, Station Casinos plans to draw some of the clintele from the SunCoast which is nearby. We'll see who has the bigger slice of the pie in a couple of years.

I thought I read somewhere that the Coast casinos are going to build a new resort on the south end of town. It might have been in the Las Vegas Advisor.

Stations could increase it's business if they took a lesson from Coast and offered a free shuttle...

Coast properties are doing a lot better lately marketing their casinos. I received a very nice offer from the Orleans this past week.
