New York, New York is in the prosess of building a perminate monument, honoring the heros of 9/11.
Many T-shirts and other items left at the iron railing, in front of the Statue of Liberty, at Las Vegas Blvd & Tropicana will be showcased in a windowed granite monument. Differnt items will be rotated in the display, where visitors can view them.
The monument is scheduled for completion the end of December.

Thier is construction plywood up around the base of the Statue of Liberty & reflection pool. I'm guessing that is where the monument will be.
