According to a "huge" article in today's Ft. Worth Star Telegram, our "Sin City" has got its act back together and is once again "in the groove" and credits Celine with alot to do with this and says that her $87.00 to $200.00 tickets are sold out thru June. (of course, those of us who frequent "Sin City" know that it was never "out of the groove")

Yeah, Vegas is sure boasting about their sin city image. I hope it has nothing to do with Celine.

I love a Vegas TV promo airing here. A middle age Asian woman is sitting at a table with the Bellagio fountains in the background, writing a postcard home. She's using a brush & ink, writing kanji characters. She looks at the text (we see the postcard's picture - "greetings from las vegas" Suddenly she puts the postcard down on the table, wets a finger, and smudges out one line of what she has written. Then gives a little smile. The promo goes to black with the saying:

"What happens here, stays here."

Yep, Sin City was going to the dogs. Along comes Celine and WHAM, she turns the city around in less than a month. It sounds like the Iraqi Information Minister (aka Bagdad Bob) has a new job at the Fort Worth Startle Gram.

Wenedell, this isn't a shot at you. I like reading all stories about Las Vegas regardless whether they match my opinion or not.
