There was pretty big article in the Wall Street Journal today regarding the Las Vegas Monorail. More specifically, on how advertising will help pay the bills.

There was not a lot of info on the development or functionality of the monorail itself. It mainly talked about how they are selling extensive advertising. For instance a whole train painted with the company logos and paint scheme (well, not really paint, just a huge custom decal). The interior was also dressed out in the design of the company. I don't remember the numbers, heck I don't even remember which company they had pictures of. They talked about the typical middle class tourist being "marketed" into throwing away so much money on gambling that the marketing on the trains were a sure bet.

The most I got out of the article is that the train is scheduled to run between 6am and 2am.

Yes, I know it isn't really a train.
