MGM Mirage is leading the way in de-themeing thier properties. They have laid off a bunch of management. Now they have a new idea that I think will save them money.

De-megamergering. After scooping up all of these properties and putting them under one umbrella, they are thinking about splitting up. Right now, they are only talking about 2 companies.

I see this as a way to handle the losses. You put all the profits in one pile and all of the losses in another pile. Then you start bleeding the losses of any positive aspects until it sinks. As the losing casinos sink, they don't drag down the profitable ones.
