Photo Trip Report
For those interested, pictures of our recent trip have been added to this site. From the main menu select photo trip reports. There are shots of the Paris and our helicopter ride.

I would like to thank the people who make this site possible for working so hard to make these pictures conform to the rules of the BB.

Thanks
Doug

Hi Doug,

Great Job w/ the photos ! You really got some good shots of Paris and the view from the helicopter is really spectacular.

Thanks for sharing them with us.

A friend of mine is helping me do a photo page that will include pictures from my recent visit to Madame Tussaud's.

I'll share em with everyone via the Photo Trip Report link soon. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to go to the Talk Vegas homepage

http://www.talkvegas.com

and click on:
Photo Trip Reports

to see your pictures.

Thanks Again,

Doug, Thanks for sharing your photos with us. I wish I was as good with a camera as you are. I agree with Mark. The helicoptor pictures are awesome.

Doug, your pictures are fantastic. Thanks for making the effort to share them with everyone. Your contributions to this bb are greatly appreciated. Hopefully we will have some more pictures to post in the next month.
Beside reading trip reports I enjoy seeing the pictures. It helps satisfy my Las Vegas addiction<G>

I love to see pictures of Vegas. Only problem is the commercial sites are to sanitized, never showing me what I want. When I learned how to set up a web page it made sending pictures to my family easy and fun. Then came the idea of posting pictures for everyone to see. There are so many things to see in Vegas that it is hard to decide which might be the best. A little sneak preview might help with those decisions.
I am also always curious about the hotel rooms so, guessing someone else might be too, I posted a couple of shots of where we stayed. It's easier, and more accurate, than describing it.
To bad they won't let me take pictues in the casino's, that would really be fun.

Doug,
First off, Thanks for sharing your pictures. The Helicopter ones are my favorites. Also the Aladin comment might be soooo true! <S>
I hope your trip pictures are just the first in a long line of pictures available on TalkVegas. Looking at your pic's might even bring me to take a camera along again to LV. I stoped a few trips ago. Did you use a digital camera, or did you scan those?

Neither, I used my camcorder. We still have a Webtv account and can transfer pictures directly from our video tape to a homepage. Unfortunately they place an add at the bottome of each page. The folks here at Talkvegas worked to modify my webpage to conform to the rules of this BB. Without them, the pictures wouldn't have been available to view.

I am still trying to figure out the new computer we have and haven't added a scanner or program to develope my own web page without adds. As time goes on I am sure we will add these to become more versital.
We have also been shopping digital camara's but are waiting for the price to move down a little bit.

Doug, the digital cameras are great. I have a Ricoh and some of the others on this bb have the new Sony's and Kodaks. Once you try one you will be hooked.

I keep my eye on them but at $600 to $700, they'll have to stay on the backburner for awhile. With two teenagers at home there are just to many other "little" expenses hanging around.

Hi Gail,

Thank goodness that my two teenagers are out of school and have their own jobs now. Since I don't have to support them now, thats part of the reason that I'll be able to see you again in a couple weeks.

Layne,
You mean they really move out. I may have something to live for other than Vegas now.

Doug,

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I'm anxious to see Paris and the Venetian.

Doug: Great job with the photos, and it's such a nice addition to your trip report. Of course now we will expect more of those great photos every time you go!

Paris looks beautiful, and I liked your written comment on the Alladin construction versus the Venetian <g>.
