Lee, you did more in 4 days than most people do in a week. It was great to see you again. How'd you stay up until 7am? I think my record is 6:30 when I didn't want to leave a hot vp machine. Glad you gave it to that cabbie. On my last trip all the cabbies were pretty good for a change. You've got to keep the bad ones in line. ------------------ John Moderator Dining Forum john@talkvegas.com

Lee, Thanks for the trip report. Shorter than usual <bg>. Congrats on the royal although only a nickel machine. Better than nothing, no? ALWAYS a pleasure to see you and Sue and also now that I have met Sandy, it is a pleasure to see her also. You guys are so funny. Maybe someday we should follow you with a camera. Really would make a good addition to the TalkVegas Photos <g>. Look forward to seeing you in November. AND thanks for the ribs at Tommy Rockers. You are way too generous <s>! ------------------ gail@talkvegas.com Moderator, TalkVegas After Hours Administrator, TalkVegas BB [This message has been edited by gailsacco (edited October 12, 1999).]

Lee Ann, I sure wish you folks where out in November too. Are you sure there is no way to twist Michaels arm, for a visit to our favorite city? The flights all went great. If you recall our last flight from H#LL was on american, and there we where flying them again. I was worried, but things went smooth for a change! Thanks for reading, and the kind words. ------------------ Lee-PA Moderator, What's New Forum lee@talkvegas.com

John.....or should I just call you Jr. ? LOL We really didn't get much sleep this past trip and I've been reminded by a lot of my friends lately that I'm getting old. Beleive me....I felt it this trip! The one thing is, I can't see the sun, when I stay up that late. When we have the mini suite, The bed is not infront of the window, and the few hours sleep I did get, was a sound sleep. Thanks for reading! ------------------ Lee-PA Moderator, What's New Forum lee@talkvegas.com

Better be careful....your starting to type like me! <VBG> I seem to always getthe bad ones at the airport. The restof the trip I normally do ok, sekecting cabbies. <VBG> Could you please e-mail me your new address when you get a moment. Jeff, I hope you make it out to LV for November and at least one of our days over lap. I think I'd like to take a drive out of town and take a look at Mesquite and see what it's like. Thanks for reading the report and the nice comments too! Enjoyed dinner and your friends seem very nice too. Glad we had a chance to meet them also. Veronica, The short trips I always seem to do better. Probably has something to do with shortening the time I'm exposed to the house edge. The Flamingo mix up, I'm sure is because the Flamingo has her splitting her time with Flamingo and Paris. She's a trainer over there and I never got to see my host the whole trip, untill it was check-out time. She hugged us all and said we're supposed to be all set in the computer for November. This will be interesting, as she has informed me she'll be on vacation while we visit in November. So I'm sure I'll have another hassel. I also asked her if I should start looking for another hotel, she smiled and said "only if it's Paris"! LOL She seemed very interested on how I felt about Paris. We'll see? The Black Jack win was from out of the blue. I've all but given up playing the game, except for the Orleans. I like the place and it's friendly. I also like to hold the cards. I don't get bored then. The bump was a nice ending to a great trip. The sad thing was, we had the option of staying till the next day, but couldn't. Sue's out of all days off work. The November trip kills the last 3 she has, and we're not going to mess that trip up! Gail S, Thanks for the good review of my report. I'm not that funny! <S> I'm just glad everyone had a good time at the meet. Thank you for the round of beers! I noticed you where off like a shot, as soon as Sue said ok, to one more! LOL I was going to race you to the bar, but by the time I turned around you had already orderd! <S> A $200 win is still nice, but I haven't hit a quarter royal for quite a while now, I figure I'm due! LOL Although a Dollar one would be better! <S> No camera's PLEASE.....I don't have a good side for pictures! Our girl has been asking for a snap shot of us for years now, and we always seem to forget that for her! hehehe! See you in November! ------------------ Lee-PA Moderator, What's New Forum lee@talkvegas.com

Gregg, The Flamingo is terribly understaffed at the wee hours in the morning. It's one of my pet peev's with the place. I still haven't caught up on my rest yet. Thanks for reading & replying to my report. ------------------ Lee-PA Moderator, What's New Forum lee@talkvegas.com

Jeff, An old guy like you & John.......? For a coulpe of "old guys" you 2 do alright! I don't think I'd spend the night at Mesquite, but I think I'd like to see it. Lake Tahoe isn't exactly a ball of fire in the wee hours either, you know. ------------------ Lee-PA Moderator, What's New Forum lee@talkvegas.com

Randy, I posted a note in the "after hours" section before I seen this note. The other guy is pretty cool too. Paul is from the Las Vegas Hilton, and those two get along well. I've shared a few beers with both of them since the move to paris. Now depending on what time you got thier, you might have had one of the break guys serve you, and then you're SOL. <S> Glad you got to meet Al, he's one heck of a guy. ------------------ Lee-PA Moderator, What's New Forum lee@talkvegas.com

Lee, I am not sure how it works, but Caesars has a similar thing now that lets the slot attendants know when the machine is low on coins. I'll have to ask them next trip how it works. I think this is something they are all going to. If you have a player sitting for 10-20 minutes waiting for a hopper fill, then they aren't playing. The casinos want you to play, so anything that keeps you putting money into the machines is a benefit to them. ------------------ John Moderator Dining Forum john@talkvegas.com
