V, What a great job on the report. It was very interesting to read.
How do you stay so slim when you eat so well? You'll have to tell me your secret.
Nice touch at the DI. Most people would not think of handling the free voucher the way you did and making sure that the player using real money was taken into consideration. I'm sure he appreciated that.
Too bad you couldn't have relieved the DI of a couple of hundreds and made the pit critter scowl even more.

V,

Thanks for the great report. Sounds like I should plan some meals in Paris on my next trip. Would you choose Paris over Caesars if they both sent you a room offer at the same rate?

V, great report....confess, you had to take some notes along the way<g>. I can't believe you forgot the fire at the Strat! The next trivia question should be "what TalkVegas member lived through that fire?"

That was a bummer that IP wouldn't honor your tickets to the car collection, but don't they still give you free admission (for a group of 4) with a AAA card?

Another bummer would be "an orginal Cobb Salad" at the Brown Derby that only rated "eh"....I'd definitely expect better from the restaurant that thought up that great idea! I crossed that idea off my "to do" list ...we'll have to hit the Peppermill one of these days; I've had great Cobbs in 3 Peppermills so far, but I still haven't made it to the one on the strip.

Why was Walt playing so much VP this trip? <VBG>

John: Haven't you heard? There are no calories in food when you are on vacation!

Jeff: That's an easy one to answer: take both offers, split the trip up, and stay at both Caesars and Paris.

Daisy: I write down a buzz word to remind me of what went on. Sometimes it has to be a couple of buzz words so I'll remember. <g>

Wasn't there a fire at the Strat when it was under construction and then the other fire was caught on the Petunia video after it opened? Or is this the same fire?

I think the guy at the IP antique car admissions flunked Coupons & Admissions 101. You know they are passing out those free-admission coupons right in front of the IP, and he didn't even mention that one either. I knew I could have gone back and gotten one of those coupons and waved it in front of his face, but it wasn't important enough to make the effort. I didn't even think of using the AAA card.

Isn't it odd that The Brown Derby is famous for Cobb Salad and it wasn't good? Talk about a disappointment. Aren't you glad I was the guinea pig? Let's do that sometime and try the Peppermill's in Vegas.
