another great tg vacation in vegas.a total of 15 this year hit town on sunday to eat drink and shop till you drop.notice i didn't include gambling in that list---i don't want to discuss it!!treasure island was home base this year --still like the rooms--price-- location--starbucks--parking.being a one finger typist--i'll shorten my report to do--don't do and opinions of the places we went. first my apologies to gail and lee for not tracking them down--i was either in the roght place at the wrong time or the wrong place at the right time, maybe in the spring.sunday--11/2 hour wait for brunch at paris--i don,t wait an hour and a half for nothing.ate at a pricey resaurant close by--very good--stage deli forum shops for din--always good, gotta have my chees cake.don,t go to the grand lux at the venetian--pricey and ehh food.nyny food court always good for a guick lunch.go see the baby lions at mgm lion habitat but what do they do with the lions when they grow up?i have a prob with that.market city cafe--monte carlo--good but about one notch above mall food.worth a cab ride to have breaky at the blueberry hill cafe--best pancakes i've ever had.mss t-bone buffet-- worth every penny of the 11 bucks. bellagio din buffet--25 bucks--yea still worth 25 bucks but noted quality everywhere was down another notch.i predict the venetian to be the first mega to go tu grand but empty, paris was always busy busy.all in all--another great year in vegas--my future home-- and planning next trip allready. happy holidays to all--may the next milleniam be as good as the last-- and all you locals stay low on nye!

Thanks for the report. I know what you mean about bein a one finger typist. Not talking about gambling results, I can fully understand. Meeting with Gail and Lee would have offset you gambling losses. Meeting with those two makes any trip worthwhile.

D.A.G.: I see you made it over to Blueberry Hill for breakfast. Glad you liked it...I do too.

Did you find a good deli this trip?

Thanks for the report.

Thanks fo teh report. Glad to see another cheesecake junkie who knows where the best is. Someone talked me into sharing some other dessert pn a previous trip, I'm back to the good old standby now, plain cheesecake. I agree about the MSS t-bone buffet. Actually, I like it about any night.

Thanks for the report.
Gambling was that bad you didn't even want to talk about it? Mind if I borrow that line in my report? Reason my report is so late, I've either misplaced or lost most of my notes!!!
Sorry we didn't get to meet up this trip...but there is always next trip, right? <S> Las Vegas is always pulling at you in on direction or another and i find it very hard to keep on any time plan while there, myself.
Again good reporting and thatnks for taking the trouble to type it out for us LV junkies! <VBG>

a few added thoughts--have the kids do the trek thing at the hilton and you go have a beer with quark--cardacian ale-- always fun.get a yard of margaritas at la salsa's in the forum shops ALWAYS FUN,gambling so bad that i couldn't use the stock closing of "didn't win any money, but had a great time" we did have a great time but losing stopped being fun on about the second day,and i'm the lucky one of the group!!

David,
It's odd, but I had the same experiance with loosing this trip. I kept thinking when does it get better. I posted a few small wins, but you know after a steady diet of loosing a couple of small wins don't cut nothing!

Have you tried Sunday Brunch at MSS? I think it's great and the price ain't bad. Good waffles. Chef cooking omelets or eggs to order. Fabulous cinnamon rolls. They also have pizza on the brunch ??? Includes champagne.
