Cathy, what a fun report to read. I can tell you had a great time. Don't let anyone tell you what you like and don't like. One of the great things about this bb is everyone has their own opinions and experiences. We share them, but you decide what you like. And it sounds like the BC is right up your alley. If you like playing there you might as well stay there and take advantage of the comps. I hope you had a slot card when you played the dueces and took advantage of freebies you can earn. I agree with you about the Victorian Room. Lee told us about it a few years ago. Before Caesars started comping our meals, my wife and I would walk to the Victorian Room for breakfast. The same breakfast at Caesars was $4 more, so we saved the $8 for vp play<G> And the BC has Drais and Michaels, two of Las Vegas's great restaurants. The BC should be pretty good with comps. You'll have to let us know how your next trip goes and see if they treat you well. Glad you enjoyed the Pasta Pirate. It is one of those hidden secrets in the way of dining. And you sound like my kind of people. Anyone who takes a limo to MSS for Blackchip porter is doing things right<G> Congrats on the renewal of your vows. My 25th is next year and we might do the renewal of vows in Las Vegas, but I don't think my wife would go for ElvisG> It sounds like you had a blast and you ate some great meals. Las Vegas is not the place to go if you are on a diet. Thanks for posting your report. ------------------ John Moderator Dining Forum john@talkvegas.com

Cathy, Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us! We always stop in at the barbary Coast for the triple play machines. The entertainment at night isn't bad there either (both on stage and strolling around the casino...LOL) We are people watchers and the BC rocks in that department! I also like the restrooms always clean & neat. Those little cakes in the morning are hard to resist! But did you try the skillet breakfast special? It's one of my favorites! My only complait about the place it the main bar. I like the one in the back, it's smaller and sort of cozy in the late evening hours. Pasta Pirate is a gem, isn't it? If you keep going back, you'll end up with a favorite server too. In any case, it sounds like you ate well and kept those feet moving too. Black Chip porter at MSS, is just plainly the best micro brew, I've ever tasted, and trust me, I drink a lot of beer! <VBG> Again, thanks for the wonderful report. SOoooo.....When is the next trip....that guy you remarried isn't going to make you wait another year to go to LV again is he? If so, I understand the divorce laws are pretty good in LV too!
