WOW!!!! Welcome to our board and for your first post, a great trip report. Having free airfare and free rooms will always make a trip to LV a great one. That has happened to us twice and it's a real treat. A delay of six hours would be worth $100+ and hour for us. It sounds like you like to stay downtown. Many have reported good things about the LVC and we will have to look into it. What do you have to win to get a Four Seasons Pass? That business of being awake for 20 straight hours uses up the energy. We have a few on this BB that make it a practice. We can't.
Limiting your purchases to suitcase space is a problem. We have two granddaughters and on a recent trip had to obtain another bag just for the gifts. Your use of coupons tells me that you are not “first timers” to LV. One of the first things we do is collect all of the coupons we might use. Jack finding a machine with 240 credits is a plus. The most I ever found was two $10 rolls of quarters.
If you have never seen the “Dueling Pianos” at the NYNY, give it a try on the next trip. We try to see it whenever we are in town. I agree that nine days in LV is a long time. We have done that one time and our luck was BAD. One of the great experiences when in LV is to meet with other members from this board. We have met some great people and try to meet new ones as well as old ones on every trip. Sorry you won't be there over Thanksgiving as many of our members will be there.
Take care, be patience with those kids, and count the days until that next trip.
Wow what a great trip!!!!!!!!! I am glad to find someone that likes to shop as much as I do in Vegas. I take an extra empty suitcase to fill up!!! Hubby just goes along with me and  He knows better than to argue with me. We also love downtown. We usually stay at Fitzgeralds. The win at LaBayou is the first I heard. I love Mermaids too. Like their tacos and quesadillas. Thanks for the report. It was fun to read. Kathy
Mary, Thanks for a very informative TR.as one who doesn't stay downtown very often this was a mountain of news and information about that part of Las Vegas. I enjoy reading what other folks due when they go to LV.I found your trip interesting and fun to read.I never really use coupons but you make it sound tempting.
You also made me want to eat "Breakfast" now! Even though it's just after midnight!! All that talk of omelets etc.You certainly covered everything.Food, gambling, hotels, casinos etc.Now I can't wait to hear more TR's! Thanks again for a fun read and a view of LV.that's not covered too often here.Hope to see you at a Talk Vegas meet in the future and put faces to names from here. Bob NY.

Mary - What a great trip report! I really enjoyed reading it. It sounds like Jack must have been sitting on a horseshoe for most of the trip - what great luck! I agree with you about Main Street Station. I had never been there until my most recent trip and I was really impressed with the whole thing - the design, the decorations, the settings, the stained glass, all of it - very impressive! I'll look forward to hearing about your future trips! Mike
Thanks for taking the time to write such an informative report. It was fun to read. You sure did a lot of things. Seems like Jack was pretty lucky at those machines.
What a great trip report. One of the very best I've ever read. You enticed us along with you at every turn. I guess you do things that we like to do in about the same manner and that was part of the enjoyment. Downtown is usually our home too. There are unique oportunities at those good old places. And, of course, the Fremont Street Experience as a nightcap every night was a fitting end to each day. Thanks for posting.
