This next morning started with breakfast at the Orleans French Market buffet (my favorite in LV) followed by a shuttle bus hop over to Caesars Palace to meet Doug and Shelly for lunch at the Cafe Lago. Doug & Shelly are a really "neat" couple you enjoy visiting and having dinner with- both being professional medics. We were so engrossed in conversation after lunch, the waitress came over and told us we could stay and visit as long as we wished. We soon chose to adjourn to "Cleopatras Barge & Lounge" to continue our visit over a few drinks. We did so. After our lunch and visit with Doug and Shelly, we returned to the Orleans for a change of clothes - and zoomed over to Main Street Station for dinner at the "Pullman Grill" (Note to all TV people: IMHO the Pullman Grill has not been discussed enough on this BB) This is definately an "upscale" restaurant complete with table cloths, candles, excellent service and excellent menu. The steak was so tender, you could almost cut it with a fork. The rail car used by Louisa Allcott definately adds to the decor of this restaurant - a dining experience that will definately be repeated upon my next visit to LV. After dinner, we strolled over to Freemont Street for a glimpse of the light show. The temperature was so cold and the wind was blowing so strong, we decided to call it a night, and we did.
