   LV Hilton help
   LV Hilton help
Are headed to LV in November, and need to stay at LVHilton for a Friday night. Slot club will comp a room, and we have reserved another. I have read some bad things about the Hilton, and obviously want to avoid getting a bad room. Is there a certain wing that is preferrable to ask for? Which view is best? And suggestions for dining would be appreciated as well.

Thanks for the help, as always!

The Benihana's at the Hilton is nice if you like Japanese teppan cooking. It is not as expensive as most of the restaurants at the Hilton. I didn't think much of the buffet.

Scott, I've never had much luck dining at any of the Hilton restaurants. Maybe some others have had different experiences. Will you have a car? If so, there are some good places that aren't too far from the Hilton. I have a friend that loves the Margarita Grille at the Hilton. I have not tried it so I cannot comment. If you are looking for dining options at places other than the Hilton, let us know.

Scott,

I'd recommend the North tower rooms. I've enjoyed the Seafood Grill at Benihana Village (which is regular table service in a nice area....very different from the main Benihana part which I don't enjoy but many obviously do). The Reef was also OK, though service was spotty.

My sister and brother-in-law ate at the Italian Rest. in the LV Hilton, I think it is called Adiamo's. They thought it was very good. (and they are picky) I can't speak from experience, because although I was staying there at the same time, I didn't join them for dinner.
