Venetian offer arrived today for La Bella Luna slot tournament and three nights accommodations for $500. Invitation states dates of April 16-18 but then goes on to mention checking in on Thursday, with slot play on Friday and Saturday. These days of the week don't match up with the dates. My guess is they made a mistake and the actual dates are for April 6-8. I won't be taking advantage of this offer, however, I like the way the slot tournament works. It is actually two separate tournaments on two days. Instead of combining the play for both days, each day is a single tournament with awards banquet, etc. $20,000 1st place (each day).

Rio offer also arrived today, the usual "Perfect Day" offer that is sent out several times a year. Good for 3 nights between April 16 and July 2 at rates of $162 midweek and $248 weekends. Certain dates are reduced to $141 midweek and $215 weekends. Previous offers like this have mentioned how many points would be needed to have this rate discounted or comped, but this offer only tells you to stop at the slot club booth for details on how to have this discounted or comped.

On the Rio web site, click "What's New" and you'll see rates for many dates starting at $65.00.
