Tater,
I was planning it being a complete surprise but Lee wasn't posting much info on where he was stay etc. so I didn't even know where to look for him and decided I'd better let my plans be known.

Jeff, your trip report reads like a busy trip. Changing hotels is a huge deal to me, so just the headline of 3 hotels in 4 days is a lot to me. Anyway, good to see you again.

Joe,
Good to see you too.
I guess the hotel thing does sound like a lot. I didn't unpack at GVR. I wouldn't have unpacked at RR but I couldn't find my phone charger so took everything out of the bags. Still didn't find it. The car never left valet at GVR or RR and I guess that made me feel I didn't do much.
It sounds like you had too much fun playing the car rental game before you even got to Las Vegas<g>.
I did not disappear to find video poker at the Palazzo! I went looking for "Club Grazie" - and the video poker just happened to catch my eye. It must have been your influence that made me order Macallan with stinkin' ice<g>, and I thought it tasted a little strange but blamed it on the ice until you topped my glass off in your room. I don't think quarter VP players get the real stuff down in the casino cuz your brand tasted a lot better.
Thanks for helping me get up the courage to try my first sushi<g>, and thanks for dinner too! I enjoyed both the sushi and the rest of the food so I got good value for your $$$.
I'm really surprised you didn't have to make a pit stop on the way to the airport after all that ice tea at the HofBrau House.
Given your offers, I would have moved three times in four days. Different strokes for different folks, but moving day just isn't that traumatic for me - that just might have something to do with my job description the last few years<g>. Was the $75 your profit on the trip?
Deja vu - I once walked into the Stage Deli thinking Reuben & cheesecake - and came to exactly the same conclusion - no way I could eat both of those and waddle out, and I think I had the coleslaw<g>.
Great to see ya again - hope Patti can join you on your next safari.
Jeff & Daisy, I think moving so many times is a PITA for my tastes, but please also remember there is only one of you when you travel. You two really traveled light. I have the shoe queen with me! LOL
Travel light, my aching back! I had the "Big Mama" suitcase packed for varying weather - it was just packed in layers according to what I thought I'd need each day, and it's really funny because there is invariably one item needed on day one that somehow worked it's way to the bottom of that heavy monster<g>.
Sharon, I did have two pairs of shoes with me - the second pair was my old bowling shoes, just in case I felt the urge to try the lanes out at Sam's Town.
Yeah, I guess that lime really took up a lot of space. :p Senator, I hope to see you guys again this year! I guess I need to stock 2 bottles of scotch this time???
Jeff, you're not the only one that likes to play those car rental games.
I thought that was what you meant on the $75, and I beat your price by roughly $20 for 4 nights, but I think your accomodations might have been just a wee bit nicer than mine on this trip.
Lee, just stock one bottle of the good stuff - he won't notice the switch.
Heck, I don't even care about the flat screens, all I want is a cozy bed with a SOFT mattress - the rest is window dressing, but you had much nice window dressing than I on this trip.
