   Possible Changes At Caesars
Park Place Entertainment Chairman Arthur Goldberg has promised a lot of capital spending at Caesars Palace once his company takes control of the famous resort, probably sometime this month.

Changes most likely will include a new high-roller casino where the coffee shop is. Cafe Roma is expected to be moved to an area overlooking the pool. There may be some new high-roller suites intended to compete with those just opened at the MGM Grand. Goldberg also notes that he does not believe the Forum Shops have been effectively used to funnel people into Caesars, so we can assume some changes will also be made there as Park Place also considers how to best move forward with the third stage of Forum Shops expansion. There has been much speculation for quite awhile that the facade on the front side of Caesars will get a new look and maybe an expansion.

V,
This is a small change I noticed on my most recent trip to LV. A great deal of Caesar employee's eating lunch at the O'Shea's food court. They must be getting some sort of discount, would be my guess.

Lee: I don't think the deal with Park Place Entertainment purchasing Caesars has closed yet but it's supposed to be in 1999.

I might have been in O'Shea's once and didn't even know there's a food court!

V, you gonna let me look at your high roller suite at Caesars?<G>
I just hope they don't change any of the comp policies.
