We've had front row seats for Don Rickles at the Golden Nugget and I'll tell you what....He is as funny as ever. One of the very few comedians, I've paid to see more then one time! Yes the front row was rough, but at the end of the night, he kissed my wifes hand, and was a perfect gentelmen. The new up and coming comedians can't hold a candle to him. BTW, you forgot to mention, he does his stuff without all the 4 letter words too. Amazing in this day & age.

Lee, Did he insult you and your entire family and all your relatives that have never even been to Las Vegas?!

He does that , ya know!

He once told my dad that some of the big time movie stars get insulted if he doesn't insult them!

"Crazy way to make a living!". And he was the one who said that!

I also liked the part at the very end when he gets nice and tells eveyone how truely great they are!

"That's the biggest BS part of the show!",

He said that too!

He started off on us and finished with us.
kept asking me, why I brought my mother to the show..."what's a matter kid, can't you get a date in Vegas.....ah what a loser" And he said that too!

We tipped for a good seat, I remember them asking me, what I conciderd a good seat. Because his shows get a little rough with the audiance, a good seat to some people is the last row! LOL

Yep! I'm the guy in the very last row, hiding under the table!

Or would be if I was even brave enough to go inside!

For someunkown reason, I am always the guy the magician brings on stage from the audiance.

One guy took my watch (I knew he was doing it but he was talking too fast).

David Copperfield had me do a trick with a huge white dog when David Copperfield was very young.

Another made a lot of fun of me and asked me to pick a card, so I did and he ripped it up and gave me an envelope, which amazingly had my card in it with my name on it when he opened it up at the finale.

I was even on stage at the old Hacienda when Lance Burton needed an assistant. I think I got a bottle of champaigne for that one.

And at Cirque I had to hold a performer's gum while he walked across the stage and stretched it.

And another time at Mystere I got tricked into doing something by some clown at my expense, This got a big laff from all the performers backstage because I am the uncle of a couple of them, and they were yelling from the wings ........"He got Uncle Will!! He got Uncle Will!!!!" And the entire audiance thought that was pretty funny.

That same nite I walked the rafters where the Bunji Jumpers fall from! They are truely brave souls! And great performers too!

But none of them wuold ever speak back to Don Rickles!I bet they don't even know who he is!

Maybe it's our job to let them know who Don Rickles is? This is probably the best comedy performer I've ever seen. I've seen a lot over the years too.
Tim Allen, George Carlin, Andrew Dice Clay, Jay Leno, Rosie O'Donald, Pat Paulson, Louie Anderson, and many more who's names arn't coming to me right now, but Rickles, tops them all!
