Has there been any recent news about Steve Wynn and his plans for the Desert Inn? We heard so many rumors since he left Mirage, but never got a definitive plan.

no insider info herebut steve says--they are making a movie there and then demo the place including the golf course.nothing has changed in their plans from day one.everyone sad to see it go but was not making money for years.i never set foot in the place.

The Desert Inn, looks down right gross! It's all done up with a chineese theme. The outside looks like the tacky inside of the IP, if you can imagine that?

That's sad Lee. I remember going into the INN and feeling un-comfortable, like I didn't belong. It defeinetly was a highbrow climit that I never felt at any of the other casinos.
I did hear that they let all the workers go in order to close the place earlier than planned to get started with overall plans.

I did read that theres is a small lake on the east side of the property that their planning on building exclusive homes and tying into the property. The golf courses will be the focal point.

Boomer--i believe those are the homes they are buying to demo--i also believe the golf courses are nada
