Park Place Entertainment has applied to the Clark County Planning Commission to add a fifth hotel tower to Caesars. The 30-story proposed tower would add 864 rooms to the current 2454 rooms, and the plans also include a 320,000 sq ft shopping and retail area.

Word is that the expansion of Caesars is actully holding up the relocation of the Flamingo's sports book. While the new sports book bar at the front of the casino is open...the sports book is still in the back of the casino! It was suposed to be moved right after the superbowl!

Yeah my one complaint about Caesars would be its small intimiate size!!! They need an expansion (like I need a hole in the head!!!!)

I wouldn't mind one bit if they expanded closer to the street though.....then the walk when I leave the place wouldn't be so long! <S>
