I was just into Expedia and I read an article of how CAPS (Certified Airline Passenger Services) is taking checked bags,and airline checkins through Alamo. The article goes on to say CAPS is also available through 10 different Vegas hotels. I know of a few, but 10? Anyone know which ones? I remember Sahara, Bally's,and I think Rio. How do you do this? Do you have to make advanced reservations? Kathy

My guess is they are counting all the Park place Hotels, Flamingo ect. to get to the number 10. I think the IP also has some arangment too.

Just got Billhere's latest newsletter. It has the web address listed. Lee - you are right about all the Park Place hotels listed. Not a one downtown though. DAG have you heard they are having problems? The idea interests me. I keep thinking, why didn't I think of that? Kathy

DAG, That wasn't CAPS that lost my luggage, it was the Flamingo! To date, the only places I've lost luggage (then relocated it later) have been Flamingo twice, Bally's, RCCL cruise lines. All with favorable results after a few hours.
I too, carry nothing of value (to anyone else) in my luggage. However it's nice to have clean clothes for a weeks stay! LOL But as I tell my wife over & over, we can always buy new clothes....this always makes her smile, and deep down I think sometimes she hopes they loose it for good! LOL
