Is Steve Wynn really interested in buying back the Golden Nugget?

This has been a popular rumor since he lost Mirage et all to MGM. I seriously doubt it. He's in the process of building a market in Maccua (sp?) to give the asian gamblers an alternative closer to home. He could end up getting to many irons in the fire if he tried to purchase the GN now. Of course, if MGM came to him with an offer, I'm sure he'd listen.

Perhaps I am backward, but didn't he buy the Desert Inn for his wife? That was what I had heard. As for Steve Wynn, I think he is the only businessman who knows how to make every visitor feel special. We have been going to the Nugget forever and I miss his administration of the property. :rolleyes:
