Anyone have information or can give a first-hand report of how construction is progressing at the new gambling hall, a$100-million property being built by Millennium(officials of Greektown in MI)called Cannery Casino & Hotel in North Las Vegas. Getting so even Beth & Fred will have to rent a car in LV.

Millennium was the same group that took over the operations of the bankrupt Regent Hotel & Casino, renaming it the Rampart.

I understand from what little I've read that it hopes to open mid December 2002 and will have friendly machines(looser)such as the Fiesta had in North LV. Looks like some trips in the air for December for those of you who enjoy being at openings of new casinos.

I was not even aware of this place. What about the rest of you?

interesting, Greektown casino has nothing to do with this. Greektown is 100% michigan owned of which 90% is Indian. Millennium is a management company that managed GT, but I do believe Millennium is building the Cannery Casino.

They did say that now that the Indians are pretty much able to manage the Greektown Casino themselves, Millennium has the time to spend on Rampart and Cannery in LV.
