OK, I'm not loosing my mind, does anyone remember those change carts? On my last 2 trips to Vegas, I did not see one of them anywhere. Maybe I was just in the wrong hotels/casino's? It seems the Casino's are cutting back everywhere, and while I'm sure they are saving money, but at what cost? Long lines at the change booths and cashier. Hey this is taking off time of my gambling! At The lady luck for example, I had wasted a good 10 min. to break a bill. I think the last place I seen the carts was at O'Shea's on the strip. So anyone else miss the convieniace of those long lost & forgotten change carts?

Lee - I think they virtually disappeared since 9/11. I used to like the ones they had at NYNY that looked like little taxi cabs. The last place I saw change carts was at MSS and that was a while ago (maybe a year). --Mike

I remember the Lady Luck had carts with drinks that they would push around. You could get a drink right then and there. Very cool. No waiting for the waitress to come back around. I wonder if they are gone as well?
Lee: I miss them also. What a hassle to get a bill changed. However, some of the girls that wander around the machines do carry some change on them, but it's always hard to distinguish which do and which don't. They have a little pouch thing on their belts, usually kind of under a vest. I usually end up asking the wrong ones!!
Itch....Sadly the drink carts are long gone too. IU think the problem with the drink carts was the cocktail waitresses had to have thier brains in thier head not on thier chest to remeber how to make the correct concoctions! LOL As was pointed out to me by one of the dealers at the Cannery, after I mentioned to the group that I don't think our cocktail server is very smart, the dealer said...."she doesn't have to be"!
