The Nevada Palace closes it's doors after nearly 30 years of service on Boulder Highway. It is on the construction site of the new Eastside Cannery. As soon as as possible, the palace will be wiped off the face of the earth for more Cannery construction.

I think that I have only been inside the place twice in my life. I do remember it as old style Vegas. The Nevada Palace opened on July 3 1979. Their sign has been promised to be donated to the Neon Museum.

Is the Cannery Eastside open yet????

Dang, I thought they had a plan to only be closed a couple months. Guess I remember wrong. Then again, published articals arn't always dead on either.

I like the Cannery, and Rampart casinos. I am looking forward to the new one when it opens.
