If you're not interested in Indian Casinos in California, the short version is that they fed me well before they scalped me.
The longer version.....Table Mountain is about 20 minutes southeast of Fresno and one of my favorite stops while working in the area. They have learned from their Nevada cousins, and meals at Eagles Landing are both cheap and good. Previously, my trips were in the evening to partake of the $10.95 prime rib/lobster dinner, but I opted for breakfast today.....$1.99 for a (4oz top sirloin) steak & eggs breakfast, with a choice of hash browns or country potatoes and toast. It was good, but it was also a hard decision since one of the other specials was a $2.99 seafood omelet.
Thus fortified, I went out to wage war on the full pay 25 cent JOB machines; they won
. In fact, they were brutal<g>. They also have full pay $1 JOB, but I opted to try the gimmicky nickel machines....actually lasted much longer there<g>, but I slunk off feeling like I had just joined the 7th Cav. Oh well, back to the hotel to watch Sean Connery in Entrapment...it was fun to see the parts I had dozed through on my return flight from Baltimore<vbg>.
