Hi all,
We decided to run down to the Mohegan Sun saturday morning. We knew we had to be at my brother's by 3 so it seemed like a good time to go. It's good to know you have to leave at a certain time.
Anyway, my husband has been learning craps so I went off to find some VP. I only had to stalk for a few minutes when an elderly lady left a Deuces Wild machine. So I grabbed it, slightly dismayed as I've been practicing Jacks or Better on our computer here and was afraid I had forgotten all the Deuces Wild that I had practiced. It came to me fairly quickly and soon I had 2 deuces with 3 other cards that made it a straight. Ditching the 3 cards I was dealt the other 2 deuces for 1000 quarters. I'm liking this now. Having listened to all of you I decided to stay at the machine and use up my 65 credits. Within the half hour I was dealt the 4 deuces for another 1000 quarters, now I'm excited. I now have $500 for our Vegas trip on wednesday! My husband found me and I could tell the machine had gone "cold". I hardly saw any deuces so I left it.
Thank you all for all your help with our upcoming trip and with talking up this VP stuff. I'm liking it! By the way, my hubby did great at Craps. So we have some money to spend in Vegas. I can't wait to read the trip reports of all of you that are there now and then to be writing my own 1 week from today!
P.S. It wasn't the right move to throw away the straight was it? I believe I had an A,4,5 and the 2 deuces, it was definitely not a straight flush. Regardless, it was the right move that day!

Patty, congratulations on the deuces! You made the right move...both on discarding the straight and moving to that machine. I've made a few good moves out here in Las Vegas, but I can only find 3 deuces at a time so far. Maybe you could give me some lessons?

Patty,
Congrats on the duel 4 deuces!
I didn't see them one time during my recent short LV trip.
I'll be looking for that trip report!

Hi Lee,
You did not see them because I am not there yet! The kids' bags are packed for their stay with Grandma, now I can start the real packing for myself!!
