I just received another offer from Boomtown ..one free night with a $39.95 Sun-Thursday night. OK, same ole stuff ...no, wait a minute! It says they are already offering many Four-Diamond amenities such as triple sheeting in all rooms and turndown service upon request and more to come "as we strive to become Reno's first Four-Diamond resort." I knew they had done extensive remodeling, but the last time I stayed there, it was in a cubbyhole category<g>. I will have to check this out, and I'll definitely have to look into their "Whole Maine Lobster, Steak and Seafood Buffet" starting on January 7th ...it's available Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 4 p.m. No price mentioned. They also have a free downtown shuttle that leaves hourly from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. -this is a long overdue idea!
