Dick, I usually drive thru Tahoe on my way to Reno...I love the contrast between the mountains, the desert and the valley (not to mention the lake<g> ), but I think the gaming is extremely limited at Tahoe. Congrats on your W2G at Hyatt, but you only have 3 choices of casinos on the north shore and 5.5 at south shore. The little 0.5 place (called the Nugget I think) may have single deck blackjack; you won't find it anywhere else at southshore....the major emphasis at south shore are slots with relatively few VP machines of any sort, let alone full-pay VP. There are at least twice as many casino choices in Reno, and the gaming is far more favorable IMO. I love staying a night in one of Caesars spa suites at Tahoe, but then I move over to Reno to search for a Royal.
