Riviera Holdings Corp. (Amex: RIV) announced the Friday, Feb 4th opening of it's Black Hawk Casino, about 40 miles west of Denver.

The 300,000 sq. ft. facility is one of the largest casino's in the state. With 990 state of the art Slot machines and 12 table games. Amenities include a 280 seat restaurant, a 490 seat entertainment center in Black Hawk, and a 520 covered self parking garage, which accesses the casino directly.

They currently are offering a tempory slot card to every customer as they enter the casino. Points earned on the temp. cards can easily be transfered over to a permanent one at the promotions desk.

They're past the temporary slot card. We were there last week and were issued a permanent card. No one approached us about a temp. card. It's not Vegas but the slot machines sound the same.

It would be great if they combined that card with the Vegas card. I'd be tempted to play in their casino more often.
