Went to AC for the day today (sunday).
Stoped in at 3 casino's
Tropicana,
Slow cashier lines 20 min. to exchange coin for paper money.
Hopper fills and hand pays, both took over 45min.
Drink service on a scale of 1 to 10, (10 being the best score possible) gets a 2
employee's where still friendly even though they are noticable under staffed
Bally's/Wild Wild West,
It looks nice, but that is where the good stuff about this place ends! People waiting for hopper fills where getting angry. Watched on fellow wait over an hour, just to get someone over to look at his machine.
Drink service....? I wouldn't know, after spending 1 1/2 hr's in the place, I never seen a cocktial waitress, not even one helping another slot section...NONE means none! Rate them a 0
Caesars,
extremely busy & full, but was able to play BJ & PiaGow Poker, got a couple of 4 of a kinds on the DDB VP. Cashire lines where short, fills where made in a timely fashion.
drinks, well it was a 50/50 split here. I orderd 4 drinks, I received 2 of them. I guess they got lossed? I don't know, but Caesars seems to be handling the crowds better.
Final tally, I finished up a wopping $12 for the day.
Hey it was something to do on an other wise lazy Sunday.

They don't move too fast at the Tropicana. <vbg> I found that out when I won a progressive jackpot there a few years ago. The other funny thing is when I have won a progressive jackpot before, the casino always rounded up the payment to the next dollar. My jackpot at the Tropicana was $1089.97 and that is EXACTLY what they paid me. The coins were falling out of my hands and onto the floor. I guess they couldn't afford the extra 3 cents. <vbg>

V, Yes, this was a bus trip I was ropped into.
It's pretty bad when the bus ride was one of the better parts of an AC trip. On the bus the beer was ice cold, the food was good, and people where happy.
AC, is a very poor subsitute for LV, always has been, always will be.
