This is for those of you who sometimes like to visit Atlantic City for a boost in between your Las Vegas trips. Showboat Casino on the boardwalk has signs posted throughout the casino that anyone who would like a room for $19.99/night should just pick up a house phone, punch in a few letters and you will get a room at the above rate. This offer is running through the months of January AND February.

As long as we've been staying at Showboat(many years), I've never seen an offer such as this even in the dead of winter. Seems like all is not going well for Harrah's who purchased Showboat just 3 short years ago. They have made some drastic changes.....eliminating some of the best vp machines for starters and changing a comp system that was one of the better ones in A.C..

Understand it was also advertised in the surrounding newspapers, so I'm sure you could probably also get that rate by calling the casino in advance.

The gambling has not improved. It's still getting worse, if that's possible!

Beth, Oddly enough, I have a wanting to go to AC since my return from the cruise. Maybe it was the way they fleased me that reminded me of AC! LOL
I am guessing this offer is only during the week days?
