Just wondering why Frogs are concidered "lucky"?
I notice a good many of the Asian & Hawian people sporting some frog tokens of one sort or another.

Anyway, just because I want all the bases covered, I too purchased a frog figurine at the Orleans this past trip. Never can have too much luck ya know

P. S. I have often sat beside people who rub their hand over the screen. Another superstition, I'm sure, but what exactly is that supposed to do?

I had the frog shiped home (it was a rather large stone carving) and wouldn't travel well in my suitcase. So maybe that would explain my poor luck, after all, I shipped it home, before my trip was over!!!

I've seen them rub the machines too, as well as really wack the buttons, or curse them out.
But my wife whines....she actually talks to her machine. I'm telling you, if you seen my wife for the first time playine her machine and things wern't going so well, you'd swear her medication is not adjusted quite right. The one thing I find really funny is if she has any kind of luck after talking to the machine, people playing around her start to talk to their machine too. After all, what could it hurt! LOL

While playing DDB at The Orleans, a woman next to me for hours continued to hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm and rockkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk just as though she were sitting in a rocking chair putting a baby to sleep. To me it was quite annoying as it almost seemed as though she had a "real" problem. It was so obvious that Sue noticed it immediately as she came by to talk without my even mentioning it.
It actually was more scarier than annoying. Maybe that's the way she got "her" luck moving. She did hit aces by the way............with a kicker.<LOL>
