The Las vegas Sun Newspaper has been running a free public service message "To Fight the Dump".

Gov. Kenny Guinn has asked every Nevadan to contribute atleast $1 to the campaign to persuade Congress to vote against putting the nations nuclear waste dump at Yucca Mt. only 90 miles from Las Vegas
Guinn is asking people who can afford to give more then a dollar to give whatever they can - $5, $10, $100.

I got a better plan.....Instead of beggin' all us locals for a buck, Guinn ought to tell Congress he will accept "The Dump" in exchange for millions in fed money, up front and then use the fed funds to fight Yucca Mountain. Now that sounds more like a typical way of doing things in the Government. :rolleyes:
