Within the past 1 1/2 weeks, I received a $10, $15, and $20 slot dollar coupon from the Borgata for spending fewer than 2 hrs. within the casino on only one visit. Not all that time playing, either. This week brought a free comped night for Fred and a free comped night for me. Don't always get this type of offer from casinos where we spend many hours. It's puzzling to me unless the Borgata really needs to build a customer base and is having problems in the process. I am aware that summer is over at the shore, but these offers seem unusual to me for A.C.. Any thoughts about why???? I don't buy "the economy" as people seem to continually gamble.
