Hello all

I'm heading back east in late Aug to see family, and my brother wants to take me there for an overnight trip. I've never been, even though I lived in Mass all my life til almost 5 years ago.

He goes quite often, but this will be new to me.
He loves it - but he's strictly a craps player.

Any advice for me? I love vp.....

I would recommend Mohegan Sun. Both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are nice. Foxwoods is much larger but Mohegan Sun is not small. I found better pay schedules of VP at Mohegan Sun (including some $1 9/6 machines). No matter where you end up staying, the two casinos are only 20 minutes apart, so you can check them both out.

Both places IMHO are rip off joints. They for sure are NOT in LV's ball park in just about any way shape or form.

Thanks for your input. I fully understand that it will not be Vegas. I love Las Vegas, as does my brother. He goes to Vegas a heck of a lot more than I do. But he enjoys his trips to CT as well. And he wins.
If we talk about rip offs, I suppose all of us that love Vegas could laugh at those in line at the gas station buying state lottery tickets.
I just look forward to a day and an evening of fun with my brother in a place I have never been before.

I just have ALWAYS had the impression the CT houses didnt care whether ya came or stayed there, there was always a ZILLION people if you never returned.
