I think the Belle and Edgewater are both owned by MGM. And I did notice on the CB website they are selling room/show packages.

Again, I rant about the megamergers. Advertising is very confusing for the consumer. The advertisements on the outside of a casino do not reflect what is actually happening in the casino. It's wierd to see a Penn and Teller advertisement while driving by Paris.

They are not $600 a night they are $600 for three nights which is $200 a night, plus the room package includes 2 event passes at $45 each, so that makes the room $510 for three nights or $170 a night.

That is still a lot of money for a room in Laughlin, but the Laughlin River Run is one of the biggest events in that town. It is the biggest motorcycle rally in the west and the rooms fill up with no problem.

It's loud because of all the Harley's with loud pipes crusing all day & night, the great concerts outside and 80,000 bikers raising hell.

The annual Laughlin River Run isn't for everybody, but for those of us that want to ride our bikes, get drunk, check out LT&A and raise some hell it's a friggen blast of a weekend.

You wouldn't contribute to the deliquency of a major party animal like me.

You don't know what you're missing out on.

JMT: (& Cajun) I have a friend that rides his scooter up from Tucson every year (Whitey from Tuscon) and has ridden to Sturgis six or seven times, He keeps asking me to come down also (but a weekend like that would kill me) We are both way too old to be doing that kind of stuff any more!!I am with Daisy; I also want (and need) a sidecar!! You can pace yourself on the amount of hell raising and partying you want to do. Even I call it quits about midnight when I'm in Laughlin. I get a room at the Riverside facing the river and I don't hear any of the street noise on the blvd. Yes you really can get a peaceful night sleep in Laughlin if you want to during the river run. I want to get up early enough to go ride a few hundred miles during the day before I hit the bars and casinos for the evening.

If you have never seen Laughlin during the annual river run, it's worth a look just once to see that many bikes in town at one time. And several people actually do drive their cars to Laughlin for the river run. So if you have never seen it, come on down at least once and check out the action.

Isn't this the same "get togeather" where the "brother bikers" deceided to, run amuck, and a few people died, because of a casino melie? Didn't they also find "a brother" dead along side the road on that one too?

Not my idea of a good time.

It's the party where nobody sleeps, but you get a room on the river side so you can get a peaceful night of sleep.

I used to do weekend long parties when I lived in Louisiana. I'm much too old for that now.
