of not posting about losing trips!

I did have a local casino visit not too long ago that was a bloodbath - couldn't win, couldn't get anything higher than 3oak,, couldn't hit a single bonus game on video slots.

But why talk about that when i can talk about today! Bippy and I went to the Finger Lakes racino for Sunday brunch with another couple from church. Nice, not spectacular. Then I went to play and David went to photograph the race horses.

An hour later, I was up $110 and we met at our appointed time. Tricky Bippy had taken some nice photos, but he also met a nice mystical mermaid machine, which rewarded him with 25 free spins and $80.

Suddenly, he is interested in visiting Las Vegas again!

JMT, gotta say that your comment about getting him back to Vegas (in the thread about the Pong slot) helped too. He even said - I hope we can spend some time with Joe, I liked him right away.

If this intention holds out, we're probably talking the November meet. September is an awfully busy time for us, unfortunately. Unless jet blue suddenly has a huge sale (we have a voucher for them)

When are folks getting together in September? And gee - perhaps I am being forward. i don't remember the September thing being an actual meet.

September isn't a big blown affair like Wendells November meet or even Dag's "Bark Meat" in July. But any are welcome to come out at that time, and I'm sure we can all get togeather for a couple of meals or even just drinks.

Our trip dates are September 20 to 27 (thursday to thursday). Daisy is planning on coming out during some part of our trip, I beleive, and JMT is always there (Lucky dog) so depending on his work schedule I hope he can join us for a meal or 2 or 3.

The more the merrier, is the way I see things. So just let us know if your coming and we'll come up with some ideas for a meet.

On the other hand, November is probably our biggest and longest running meet. Wendell does a heck of a job with this one, it's his baby. I know for an absolut fact he'd be happy to see you & Bippy at his meet! As would Sharon and myself and many others who attend.

Or what you could do is suggest to Bippy that since he's missed so many good meets in the past, he really should attend in September and November! LOL
BTW, tell him the slots are on and waiting for him! LOL

So far, the Daisy plan is to show up in time for Sunday brunch on the 23rd.
