In a move to fill the Kodak Theatre's often-empty stage between the Academy Awards shows for which it was built, the theater's owner has committed to a 10-year, $100-million agreement with Cirque du Soleil to create a permanent show for the Hollywood venue. The show will be a tribute to Hollywood. It is still supposed to be about 2 years from showtime.
OK stupid question time.....where is the Kodak Theater? I've never heard of it. I guess you can all tell, I'm not into watching stars pat each other on the back.

Oops, silly me. It's in Los Angeles. From what I understand, it is in a nice, big, expensive, Hollywood, compound with fine dining, trendy nightclubs, upscale shopping, movie theaters, and other places where the stars can pat each other on the back.

Wow - what a great idea by Cirque! That will be a nice tourist attraction. People will get to see the inside of the Kodak Theater plus see a Cirque show. Since I'm a big Cirque fan PLUS a movie nut, I'd actually make a special trip to LA to see this.
