Starting a new thread here to continue discussion on the Sat., Oct. 2nd TalkVegas Meet.

The meet is planned for 4 pm at Tommy Rockers on Industrial Rd. TR's is casual, big enough, and they usually have darn good ribs.

So far, we have about 20 people on the list. Anyone interested can reply here or privately e-mail me. This way, TR's will have an idea of how many they will have to accomodate.

All are welcome to stop in for cocktails, food, and good chat. Stop by to say hello, stay 5 minutes, or stay for a few hours.

Open to any and all suggestions.

Gail, It seems funny.I think I was one of the 1st to sign on for this meet? Now I can't make it.I was on a list for a new place and they called me.I will move on Oct.1st.My trip was booked for Sept.28-Oct.6th.I now have to cancel too bad but I can't help it.If there was anyway I could make it I would.I had good airfare on UA 1st class,$49 rate at Monte Carlo and a double upgrade at Hertz #1 club.I guess I'll
use it at another time.Maybe in Nov. around Thanks giving or at the end of Oct? I'll have to get settled first.I guess I'am stuck with reading the trip reports when you guys come back? I hate to miss my first Talk Vegas meet but you see where I'am at.Give my regards to all new and old friends and I hope to see you all soon in the great town.I hope you all win and have fun.I'll be thinking of you partying out there while I'am moving.TTYL.

Bob, Well, I'm really glad that you are getting the new place. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I really am sad that you will not be here on Oct. 2nd. I was looking forward to sharing a couple of Buds with you <g>. Thanksgiving would be nice. Lee and Sue usually come in during Thankgiving and I think a couple of others are coming into town too. Let me know whenever and we'll get together for some chat.

The bad news is you'll miss one heck of a party!
The good news is, you'll still be able to squeeze in a Las Vegas trip before the end of the year!

Gail and Lee, Your right about missing a great meet.I know this one will be great.....Well not much I can do about it now. I will make up for it beleive me! I hope to get out around Thanksgiving so if anyone will be there let me know and we can try to hook up.I can't wait to get out there between heat,droughts,floods,hurricanes etc.Las Vegas will seem like a Sunday school meeting<G>.TTYL

Doye, Thanks me too! Nobody is more disapointed than I'am.I just knew that I would be called on this list just when I didn't want too.But that's the way it goes.To get these units takes a looooong time so this is a must for me waiting was quite long.BTW I was in Lexington KY. last month visiting my uncle and enjoyed it very much.Hope to meet up in town soon??
