Is a long sleeve sweater still too hot to wear in the evening? (Keep in mind, we come from the north so 70 is warm to us)

Carol, Forgot to reply about the sweater. Most of the time (lately), a sweater has not been necessary because of the weather. However, one night this past week, it was cold and I went back into the house for a sweater.

Bringing a light-weight sweater is probably a good idea- if you don't mind carrying it around. Sometimes the casinos are cold from the a/c.

The first time Joe and I went to the El Cortez (a couple of weeks ago) to check it out, it was soooo cold in there that we had to leave. My stomach was turning from the cold.

Each casino has their own "thing" about controlling the temps. At the Showboat you can usually count on the place being hot in the summer (a/c not working) and cold in the winter (heat not working) <lol>.
