I am new here. Looking forward to posting here and it looks like some great folks here. I go out about twice a year, but I know some people that live there. Others that go out several times a year.

Just got back from trip September 27-30th. Stayed at The Venetian and loved the place.

I have already sent emails to friends telling them of this site. The ones I sent them to are all really big fans of Las Vegas. One lives there, one has been to Las Vegas almost a 100 times, one is from LA, so she goes all the time as well. So hopefully they can come over and add some things here.

I am new here too! I got the word about TalkVegas from Marc. We are former posters over at another bulletin board and found the "gang" there to be very hostile at times. So, I am so happy to find a great bulletin board to discuss my favorite subject....Las Vegas.

Marc and SamIam, Great to have you aboard. There is a core group that started this bb after the demise of one that we used to be on. It's nice to have you join us and I'm sure you will be able to give us a lot of input and tips on Las Vegas.

Gang here is the skinny. Doug from here emailed me with your site. He also posted at the other site and thought we would enjoy the company here and he is right; so far everyone is terrific! Glad to be aboard.

Sam just got back from LV in September as did I. We just couldn't hook up, SamIam was out a week or so earlier. We have a good sense of humor and enjoy intelligent conversation about our favorite town-LAS VEGAS..... We tend to post alot so I hope we don't overwhelm you.

Yeah that was a great thread. Is it still there over there? I will ask the ex-moderator what happens to the old threads. My guess is they are just deleted, not archived.

I have a copy I printed, part two at least. I hate to reprint without permission. Esp. since it was so original.

Welcome Folks, and bring your friends. One of the things I like about this website is that there is absolutely no advertising, and that makes things run quicker and smoother. Even on the BB, links to websites that are commercial in nature are not allowed. I think that encourages more talk and opinions, rather than answering questions with a URL.
