   The Strip
   The Strip
Has anyone been watching the new show, The Strip? While it is filling my void (and I'll still continue to watch), I can't help but chuckle at some of scenes. The producers of this show obviously aren't on the strip much. For instance............

In the first show where they were walking in the Forum Shops at Caesars. There was barely anyone walking there...and to boot, they had a cocktail waitress walking behind them. When was the last time you got a drink in an "empty" walkway at the Forum?

Or in this week's, they chase a dealer (away from his table), rough him up a little and then say, "Let's get out of here before security arrives." DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they would have been there by then!

Or, at the end of the show, he was sitting on the hood of his car with a girl, in the middle of the street, watching the Fremont Street Experience (where normally the rest of us would be standing and watching...you know where they have the street blocked off so cars can't get in??

Has anyone else caught some of their "Strip Blunders?? List them if you remember any.

How about putting one dollar in a machine and winning the million dollar jackpot. All the ones I ever seen you better put in the max. or good by jackpot

Joe, The Strip comes on on Tuesday Nights at 9:00 pm. If you're in the Detroit area, that is channel 50 (WKBD)....or the UPN network.

Kizzy, missed that one!

Have to watch for tonight's bloopers!

Finally got to see this show last night. Somehow I was confused between the UPN and the WB. Kept looking for it on WGN TV in Chicago....ooops. The show is okay, the best part is just getting to see the Strip and last night they had some good shots of the south strip and from what I can tell they were filming near Russell Road and possibly Industrial Highway??? The final scene was the two guys cruising LV Boulevard and there was one or two cars out there with them...it must have been like 4 a.m. to have so little traffic out there. Just seeing my favorite town from the comfort of my living room gives me a little rush. I can't wait to go back again!!

"The Strip" has been cancelled on UPN and filming ends this week. The show will continue to air until the end of the year.

Meanwhile an NBC News crew begins filming today an hour-long documentary that will be aired in March. The show will be devoted to Las Vegas, past and present and focus on life beyond the Strip, from churches to crime in the city. The location shoot runs through Friday and is expected to include setups at the Fremont Street Experience, City Hall and other downtown sites.
