Informal meet, everyone and anyone who wants to meet for friendly chat invited.

You can drop in for 5 minutes to say hello or stay the duration. You can eat and drink or just come for the chat.

We got offers from the Mirage and Caesars, so I made reservations hoping that Michael would be able to get off from work. However, his partner has plans for that weekend, so it looks like we will be the only family members left in Pa. for Thanksgiving.

my note may be too late... Can we have a TalkVegas meeting at another location...in the future? The reason is simple: I cannot go to the Main Street Station meets. Well, it is just a suggestion. (I probably will have a hard time requesting a day off from COSTCO anyway...but still) If a meeting in the future is held where I can go, I will try my hardest to go to it...

Joe Jr., I will keep that in mind for future meets. I would like to try to find another place like the Green Shack to meet. This was a comfortable place for most people.

I was looking forward to finally meeting you at Tommy Rockers in Oct. but it didn't work out since you had to work. It seemed like a nice place and since you and all of your family could show up, that made it even better. You're in the same situation as my son when I brought him out last year. I knew that he couldn't go in a bar but I thought that if they had food that it would be OK. But NO-O-O-O!!! Maybe on my next trip, we can find a good pizza place or somewhere else that you can go. It won't be Thanksgiving weekend since I had an offer from 2 Bud girls to go to Jamaica with them that I just couldn't turn down. Sorry Lee, but you'll have to drink a beer for me while you are there!! I'll do a shot of Rum in your honor!!!

Well, I DO like Tommy Rockers a lot, but, I am going to try to find a new place that is good for everyone... I'll post new suggestions as soon as possible. By the way, I went to the RACE ROCK at LV Blvd. and Fremont. The atmosfere and employees were great. I only had time to try their macaroni and cheese side dish, which was good, but I WILL go again soon and give a full report in the DINING forum...

What about the HolyCow, do they restrict minors also?
I've always felt Barleys would be a good place for a meet, but it's so far out on Sunset, but again, I don't know thier minor policy.

Lee, I'm pretty sure I've taken the kids to Holy Cow before. Up in the dining booths it's okay but not too good for a meet. They only have booths for four people.

When we had the meets there in the past, they set us up near the bar. Don't think they would allow kids here. However, I could give a call and see if they would move their booths around for us- kids included. Management is pretty good there. They might cooperate.

I just have to say once again how much I love PF CHANG's CHINA BISTRO ! I think that PF Chang's is a good place for 12 people or less to meet. Everyone seems to like their food. It is very clean and the service is pretty good. Sometime in the future we should plan a small meet there.
