Does anyone know exactly the 2000 LVA coupon book comes out? Is it available before the first of the year? I'm a new subscriber but I can't remember when they said it would be out. T.C.

Don't expect too much!
The LVA coupon book values have been declining just like the entertainment book.
I will not renew my subscription for the LVA when it comes due next time.

Lee: Speaking of the Entertainment Book, Teri was pouring through it over the weekend and trying to put together a list of restaurants to hit. I'm not familiar at all with most of the choices of restaurants in the 2000 book. Are there any goods ones???

So many questions!! What does the Entertainment book cost and where is it available???
Lee, I've never seen the LVA Coupons because I am a new subscriber and I chose the 2000 option but I do enjoy the monthly newsletter and look forward to it each month. Tom

My answer is not much in the resturant area. Unless you like the Station properties food outlets.
The comedy club discounts will still easily cover the cost of the Ent. book still, but it's loosing ground in the food area.
You understand the reason most of these places are in the book is to generate new customers. Once your in the door, there hoping you come back without a coupon. While in other places food is a big mark-up item, in LV the food prices are already fairly cheap, so I'm sure it hurts when all the people are comeing in is one time to use a 1/2 off coupon. M2C

The Ent book can be purchased at many places. Book stores in LV sell them. But I always try to obtain mine from some charity, where the clubs gets a few extra dollars for there trouble. I think mine cost $33 this year. I think it was the Jewish comunity center in LV, this time. (a friend hooked me up with this group as soon as they came out)But I have purchased them from Military Heritage Command of las vegas too. #1-800-347-4385.
I always include a few extra bucks too, after all these are charities.
All the Station casino's sell them also, which may explain why they are so prevelant in the book?

Okay, Lee. Never been to the Station casinos in the 2000 book. Like you said, the new book isn't very good in the restaurant department. '99's was much better.
