When Steve Goeken, a skycap at McCarran International Airport, was working the curb last summer, a limo pulled up and out stepped singer Billy Joel and three others.

"I started singing, 'Piano Man,' and they all started laughing. Billy came over and gave me a $100 and said, 'Get some voice lessons.'"
