Tuesday morning about 4 am, my cat was in my face waking me up. He gets in my face for a number of reasons and one is sometimes a warning.

The talk later was that we had an earthquake. IF we did, it was not as bad as the last one because the bed didn't shake <g>.

Did anyone hear or read about an earthquake yesterday? Nothing was in the newspaper today. Did CA have an earthquake?

No earthquakes felt here in NoCa, but I'm not at my most alert at 4 am.

I just checked the U.S. Geological Survey
web page, and although there were many
aftershocks of the Hector Mine earthquake
near 29 Palms yesterday and today, none of them were above the 2.1 magnitude, so I doubt
you (or your cat) would have felt them.

He was probably just reminding you that he needed a snack.

Either there was another earthquake or aftershock at 12:34 am or something else is going on here in Las Vegas OR maybe I'm just going nuts <g>.

The bed didn't shake like the *real* earthquake but the ground did rumble.

I'm going to check out the U.S. Geological Survey web page that Dick referred to in his note.

If these aren't earthquakes, what the heck are they? I wonder if Area 51 and/or the Nuclear Plant are doing some kind of secret testing???
