Everyone seems to like the old standbys for a Talk Vegas meet: Main Street Station Brewpub and Tommy Rockers. How about some other restaurant/cocktail lounge suggestions to consider holding a meet?

V,
If you just want drinks, there's a couple lounges at Mandalay Bay that would be good.

Also, there's a neat little lounge in the Peppermill. I imagine you could get bar food there.

I think the biggest single problem with meeting places is you just never know just how many are going to show up. We've had quite a few "suprise guests" show up unanounced many times. Then you also have the "no shows" who either forget, or don't want to leave there lucky spot.
I think that's why MSS & Tommy's works so well. How about the Paris Sports bar for drinks? Or even Ellis Island for drinks and bar food?

Thanks, all. Keep the ideas coming, since they are all good ones and I'm putting them all on a TV meet suggestion list.

One other one that Lee Ann reminded my of is the La Piazza lounge at Caesars where we had a meet last April. I'm not sure about the others, but I thought it worked out quite well. We grabbed a large table in the raised area and had that part of the lounge to ourselves. There were other tables nearby that we could have also used with no problem if we had needed them.

I've talked with the managers at Vito's in the Orleans, and they could handle small meets up to 15 people. Their food is both reasonable and good; the service and atmosphere are both very nice.

The reason I like MSS Brewpub and Tommy Rockers is the food. MSS has a good menu with a lot of choices and good quality food and service. The prices are also reasonable.
Tommy Rockers has great ribs, but they also have a lot of other good choices and the food and service have always been the best.
I liked the La Piazza meet, but remember, we had dinner reservations so the food was not important. I don't think the food court there would fit our needs if we had to eat there also. It was a great place to meet for drinks and conversation, kinda like the time we met at Bellagios.
When deciding on a place for a meet, I feel that all of the following must be met.
1.Must have good food, a nice variety of choices and good prices.
2.Must have good service.
3.Must be laidback to put up with this group<G>
4.Must be convenient and not too far out of the way.
5.Must not have loud entertainment so we can carry on casual conversation.
I agree that we should expand out horizons and try new places and if Randy and Daisy are "All Over" the Orleans, we could try them out the next time.

Also, I've heard some of the local places have a happy hour where they set out trays of food that you just help yourself to. If anyone knows of a place that puts out a free spread of good food at happy hour, that might be an option.
